Why, hullo there!
Welcome to my humble dA account!

My name is Mariana (aka Miana). I'm Portuguese and I spend my time between two Portuguese cities - Aveiro, my home-town, and Vila Real, where I'm currently studying Veterinary Medicine. My dream is to become a wildlife vet specialized in big cats, or a clinician specialized in cats and exotic species, and work in the UK.

I also try to do a whole world of other things on the sides, and wouldn't say no to many other learning experiences and career paths. I used to dance Ballet and play piano before going to University, too. Currently, my spare time is divided between teaching English, watching anime, cosplaying, reading, writing, playing video games and boardgames, so on and so forth.
Oh, and it goes without saying that I spend lots of time on the interwebs.

You can tell that already but my interests include a large range of indoor, geekish activities, as I'm mostly an introvert and enjoy entertaining myself the most. Of course, I love conventions and friendly comfortable environments, the same way I love interesting and thoughtful people, so feel free to talk to me any time.

I promise I won't be very awkward!
